About The Company

Fireworks, the software division of Fire Engine RED, has been providing software solutions to the higher education market since our CEO & Chief Creative Officer, Shelly J. Spiegel, founded the company in 2001.

We’ve evolved from offering a single Email Response System in 2002 to providing a suite of stand-alone software products, including Broadcast Email, Text Messaging, Event Manager, Admissions Applications, Forms, Live Chat, and Email Response.

In 2016, our company launched an all-in-one admission recruitment CRM to help admissions offices recruit, enroll, and retain students.

All of our software solutions are implemented and supported by our legendary client care team which is second to none!

We’ve always been fully remote

From the beginning, the company’s goal was to attract, hire, and retain top talent with a unique set of skills and experiences. We soon realized that the best way to do this was to create a fully remote workplace. Fast forward … we’ve been operating as a fully remote company for 22 years, making us one of the first fully remote companies in the U.S.

We attract and retain top talent

Today, our company is home to a talented team of dedicated professionals who reside throughout the U.S. We’re especially proud of our 100% employee retention rate in 2023.

The company’s competitive pay, fully remote work environment, flexible work hours, positive culture, and meaningful work are the primary reasons why the company has been able to consistently attract and retain top talent.

Great client experiences start with Fireworks

Our favorite answer is "Yes."

We’ll get to know you and understand your institution really, really well.

We believe in partnership, not “vendorship.”

Our client partnerships are based on a solid foundation of openness, authenticity, and transparency.

We’ll customize Fireworks to meet your institution's unique needs because we know that a customized approach delivers superior results.

You’ll work with a team who has previously worked in higher education.

Our team is experienced, knowledgeable, and productive.

We have no hidden fees.

We won’t try to sell you anything you don’t absolutely need.
